ReadyToTalk's Zapier integration turns each answered call into a trigger you can send anywhere — a Google Sheet row, a Slack message, a CRM lead, an email to your team.
Set it up
- In Zapier, create a new Zap and choose ReadyToTalk as the trigger app, with the New Call Handled event.
- Connect your account using your ReadyToTalk API key (dashboard → API keys; it starts with
rtt_). - Pick the business whose calls should fire the Zap (accounts can manage more than one business).
- Choose your action app and map the call fields.
What each call carries
The trigger delivers the caller's name and number, when the call started, the reason for calling, the AI summary, the full transcript, the callback number, and the call type (AI-answered, phone-menu, or forwarded) — enough to build real workflows, not just notifications.
Ideas that work well
- Google Sheets: a running call log your whole team can see.
- Slack: post each summary to a #calls channel for instant visibility.
- CRM: create a lead or contact from every new caller so follow-up never depends on memory.
ReadyToTalk is the AI Staff for small businesses — it answers every call 24/7, learns your business from your website, and captures every lead so you never miss work while you're busy doing the job. See how an AI answering service compares for your business.
